Our Story

The Eagle Lodge has been an iconic landmark in Bishopbriggs since 1958.

Originally owned by the Smart family, it was THE place to be seen in the swinging sixties! In years gone by events from weddings and parties to tea dances and cabaret nights were hosted, everyone has a story to tell about a night well spent at The Eagle Lodge!

In the 80’s Scottish Brewers purchased The Eagle Lodge, running the busiest pub in North Glasgow -The Patio Bar, later Homespread took over and every 90’s kid will remember the “Funky Forest” soft play area until 2005 when the Randev family took ownership.

In 2005 The Eagle Lodge undertook a multi-million pound refurbishment

Every area from the restaurant, bar and function suites were renewed to create a stylish and contemporary venue whilst maintaining many original classic features, a new lease of life was injected into The Eagle Lodge! We opened the doors of “ Oregano Restaurant ” in February 2006, and a few months later 3 beautifully appointed function suites were also ready to be used – The Rotunda Suite, The Eyrie Suite and The Antonine Suite, once again The Eagle Lodge was THE place to be in Bishopbriggs!

With business booming it was time to expand The Eagle Lodge. The Glasshouse was added to Oregano in 2009

Providing a space like nothing else around. The Glasshouse offers an unparalleled dining experience and is fully temperature controlled so is perfect in any weather! This addition also meant an outside terrace was added, a unique space for Al Fresco dining in the summer months which far surpasses its rivals.
